A fascinating read:

In a children’s Displaced Person’s (DP) camp in Germany just after the war, a welfare officer was so taken with our survivor Sol Wexler’s story — from losing his entire family to surviving in the cave — that she had to put down her pen…and just listen. She wrote a personal comment on the last page of her report that resonates so clearly to this day. We strongly encourage you to read it and even take a little time to read the entire contemporaneous report itself, too. It’s fascinating.
